This role is part of Group Treasury, where our vision is to establish a robust and forward-thinking treasury function. We aim to balance efficiency, security, and innovative financial operations while enhancing user experience and fostering strong relationships with the group companies we serve.

You will join the Treasury Controlling & Reporting team, dedicated to safeguarding the assets of Inter IKEA Group while providing accurate, transparent information with integrity. We achieve this by ensuring compliance and acting as a reliable and trusted partner. The controlling and reporting team actively collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, delivering expertise in a straightforward, practical, and business-focused manner.

About the Job

As a Treasury Controller at Group Treasury, you will operate within the Treasury Control Framework, which encompasses financial controls, tools, and processes to ensure full compliance. You will closely collaborate with Group Finance, Accounting, and Financial Controlling, as well as relevant Business Functions.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Treasury Policies and Rules along with the associated control frameworks to ensure compliance.
  • Monitoring and proactively managing compliance with Treasury rules, policies, and external regulations daily.
  • Producing and analyzing a set of key KPIs that measure the financial performance of Treasury companies on a daily basis.
  • Liaising with Treasury stakeholders to ensure that Treasury control aligns with future business developments and projects.
  • Producing monthly reports and analyses of net financial income and expense for Inter IKEA Group.
  • Managing the hedge accounting process for treasury companies as required throughout the fiscal year.
  • Providing support to the Treasury group with static data, logical access management, and market rate feeds.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors and supplying all necessary information.
  • Monitoring best practices and benchmarking the control function against the market and peer companies.

With a service-minded attitude, you enjoy supporting colleagues across the Inter IKEA Group daily. You build trusting relationships with all relevant treasury stakeholders and work collaboratively across organizational and geographical boundaries.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable Treasury organization.
  • Solid knowledge of Treasury functions and principles.
  • A precision-oriented approach, following procedures and internal control mechanisms to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • The ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders to drive understanding.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
