Your Role: Instrumentation Engineer

To further enhance our product offerings, we conduct experimental studies in our test center in Baden and at our customers’ locations. The Instrumentation team plays a critical role in providing the testing infrastructure and sensor instrumentation for turbochargers. We invite you to help strengthen our diverse team as an Instrumentation Engineer.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead instrumentation tasks on turbochargers and test rigs in collaboration with manufacturing and assembly departments.
  • Perform, evaluate, and document tests on turbochargers and their components.
  • Design mechanical reworks and sensor instrumentation for turbocharger components.
  • Advise and support test and development teams with valuable insights.
  • Contribute knowledge and findings to product development initiatives.
  • Lead and manage projects related to instrumentation tasks.
  • Coordinate and plan tasks within the team and across other teams.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary development and infrastructure projects.
  • Further develop measurement methods and testing infrastructure, especially in strain, vibration, and temperature measurement, as well as in data transmission from rotating systems.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or graduate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of measurement technology.
  • Experience in temperature measurement.
  • Proficiency in CAD programs (preferably CATIA).
  • Experience with turbomachinery is an advantage.
  • Passion for both theoretical and experimental work.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • High degree of flexibility along with strong organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented and results-driven work style, demonstrating high personal initiative.
