Job Overview
In our Agile DevOps Teams, you will build and execute a QA Strategy that emphasizes early test automation adoption. By incorporating cutting-edge automation solutions, you will significantly reduce manual effort while increasing test coverage. You will continuously assess and improve automation processes to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on driving the "shift-left" adoption in QA. Additionally, you will leverage Generative AI to automatically generate, optimize, and maintain automated scripts based on application flows, UI changes, and natural language input.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks to foster an “Automation First Mindset” using sophisticated techniques such as BDD, streamlining and enhancing the QA process.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to improve the efficiency and reliability of release processes.
- Develop probing methodologies to validate the availability and uptime of systems in the production environment, ensuring a "shift-right" adoption.
Your Skills
- 15+ years of experience in driving automation adoption while facilitating functional and automation tests across various testing levels (System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing).
- Proficient in delivering high-quality automation test solutions with strong knowledge of Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and TestNG frameworks.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance automation capabilities and address emerging challenges.
- Sound knowledge of version control tools like Gitlab and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins / Gitlab CI/CD.
- Good knowledge of build management tools such as Maven and test data management through databases / Apache POI.
- Define and promote test automation best practices, standards, and processes by developing hybrid automation frameworks.
- Competent in overseeing all aspects of project management, including phased deliverables, specifications analysis, resource allocation, project planning, and execution.
- Strong proficiency in Agile processes with a proven record of implementing the Scaled Agile Framework; SAFe certifications are a plus.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to projects to ensure scalability, resilience, and performance through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement; SRE certifications are welcome.
- Strong analytical skills to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end functional requirements, design documents, and product models to create Test Plans, Test Strategy, and Test Estimations.
- Rich experience in strategizing test plans, creating test estimations, designing test cases, and developing automation scripts; ISTQB Advanced Test certifications are beneficial.
- Liaise with multiple ARTs and business stakeholders to set up test environments and generate test data according to complex system requirements.
- Drive rapid resolution of complex defects and critical incidents through expert triage, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination under high-pressure situations.
- Deliver precise, data-driven reports that provide insights, highlight risks, and facilitate informed decision-making across stakeholders. Deep knowledge of Jira rich filter controller reports is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Drive various types of testing, including Functional, Automation, Localization, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Tests.
- Manage cross-functional teams of functional and automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Expert in defect/incident triaging, skilled in analyzing, prioritizing, and coordinating the resolution of software issues in test and production environments to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and exceptional customer experience.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance the quality and efficiency of QA efforts.
- Manage project risks efficiently, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigations to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting and analytics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
