Job Description

In this field-based role, you will be responsible for achieving and driving growth in sales revenue for our Neuromodulation Business (NMD). Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base and enhancing the NMD business in Switzerland, in collaboration with the National Sales Manager. You will also provide technical support to customers, assisting them in resolving any issues they may encounter.

Your role includes organizing and delivering technical support and product training for both customers and internal staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze local market dynamics and competitor strategies that impact accounts within your assigned sales territory.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapies, Abbott products, clinical practices, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and business policies.
  • Provide technical support and assist physicians with implants and follow-ups throughout the dedicated territory.
  • Develop and implement Account Plans to achieve sales revenue targets.
  • Manage inventory effectively within the assigned territory.
  • Offer technical assistance to healthcare professionals in assigned accounts, and collaborate with colleagues as agreed upon with your supervisor.
  • Conduct product presentations and participate in exhibitions, addressing technical questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate territory records and provide reports and forecasts as requested.
  • Responsible for training on the application of new products.
  • Support marketing team members or other specialists in identifying potential new product or business development opportunities.

Your Profile

  • Educational background in a medical and/or technical field.
  • Experience with implantable medical devices, technical support, and/or sales.
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Skills in selling and negotiations.
  • Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Office 365.
  • Fluency in German, French, and English is mandatory.
  • Valid Driving License (Cat B).
