How You Can Make a Difference

  • Utilize your expertise in Technical Writing.
  • Create and maintain end-user documentation such as Operator Manuals, Instructions for Use, Quick Guides, User Guides, and Application Notes, leveraging available source documents and input from Hamilton team members.
  • Support various documentation projects and project management tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with Regulatory and related groups to ensure compliance with all documentation standards and requirements.
  • Perform basic graphics editing to enhance the documentation’s visual appeal.
  • Provide documentation services, including editing and English reviews for other projects as needed.

What You Bring

  • Experience in developing documentation for end-user audiences, with a quick grasp of complex procedures, concepts, and functional engineering specifications.
  • Strong collaborative spirit, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to determine needs and effectively present information.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, coupled with a professional demeanor, good time management, and the ability to thrive under tight schedules and changing project plans.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • A self-starter attitude, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment and adept at managing project issues directly with cross-functional team members.
  • Proficiency in FrameMaker, InDesign, Acrobat, and XML-based content management systems, with a readiness to learn new tools as necessary.
  • Native-level English proficiency is required, with the capability to communicate in US English; knowledge of German is a plus, or a willingness to learn.
  • A background in sciences or high-tech fields is preferred.
  • Strong graphic visualization skills are beneficial, as we often collaborate with graphic illustrators.
