Join Our Team as a Watchcase Builder - Technical Project Coordinator (M/F)

We are currently seeking a talented individual for our client, a renowned watch company.

Your Future Responsibilities

Technical Project Management

  • Monitor the progress of various projects under your responsibility.
  • Supervise the manufacturing of components undergoing prototyping and industrialization.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on prototype and pre-series approvals.
  • Oversee FMEA quality processes and modifications during production.

Watchcase Construction

  • Conduct preliminary design studies for straps, buckles, and jewelry cases in collaboration with design teams, project managers, and suppliers.
  • Redesign existing parts for after-sales service.
  • Update design standards and monitor continuous improvement projects.
  • Collect necessary technical information from internal teams.
  • Model or modify components using CAD from existing 2D/3D designs or plans.
  • Adapt plans based on supplier feedback while ensuring feasibility and compliance.
  • Validate the consistency and reliability of technical documentation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of articles in the database, connecting plans and overseeing revisions.
  • Provide technical support to Quality Control, Production, Development, After-sales Service departments, and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to costs and timelines throughout the development process, from prototype design to delivery.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with a technical background and a minimum of 5 years of experience in watch case construction. Ideal candidates will exhibit the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CREO, with experience using Windchill (Pdm Link).
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to address the needs of various departments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with autonomy and analytical capabilities to manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Proactive and persistent, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and propose relevant optimizations.
  • Fluency in French and a good command of technical English.
