Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical illustrations for our product documentation. As part of a small, motivated documentation team affiliated with the technical service, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality documentation standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and manage illustrations and animations for technical product documentation across all Accelleron products.
  • Take complete ownership of Spare Parts Catalogs, Customer Data Packages, Outline Drawings, and more.
  • Develop and maintain assembly instructions for various product groups.
  • Conduct drawing work in accordance with specified processes and targets.
  • Meet the established plans and deadlines of the product groups.
  • Further develop illustrations and animations according to customer and editor requirements.
  • Provide advice and support in your area of expertise to internal customers and editors.
  • Ensure professional data storage and traceability of change statuses.
  • Conduct independent research to gather all necessary data and information required for processing orders.
  • Lead or collaborate on documentation projects, coordinating closely with the Product Development, Design, and Service Departments.

Your Background

  • A mechanical background and/or Higher Education in a Technical School or a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Technical Documentation.
  • Proficiency in creating high-quality illustrations and animations.
  • Familiarity with global standards regarding graphics, safety information, signs, and symbols is a plus.
  • Technical know-how in the Graphic Creation Process for Product Documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Catia Composer and Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of other graphic tools is advantageous.
  • Independent, precise, and punctual work style.
  • Experience using Component Content Management Systems (CCMS); familiarity with Schema ST4 is beneficial.
  • Strong written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
