Are you passionate about regenerative materials—earth-based, bio-based, and reused materials? Would you like to support the organization of our two CAS ETH programs in Regenerative Materials? We are seeking a motivated student assistant to help prepare and deliver these programs during HS26 and FS27. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the organization and execution of continuing education programs at ETH Zurich.
It’s time to move beyond sustainability. Globally, innovative solutions utilizing local resources—such as earth, bio-based, and reused materials—are driving regenerative change. These materials not only minimize environmental impact but also actively contribute to the restoration and enhancement of natural and social ecosystems.
However, despite their potential, regenerative materials remain underutilized in the construction sector. Key barriers to widespread adoption include a lack of awareness among decision-makers and limited expertise among practitioners.
The CAS ETH in Regenerative Materials, offered by the Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zurich, is designed to tackle these challenges. These international training programs provide the knowledge and skills necessary to question conventional construction methods and promote regenerative materials: earth, stone, bio-based, and reused building materials—covering the entire lifecycle from resource extraction to construction, operation, and end-of-life.
For more information on the structure of these programs, please visit our website:
We require your assistance during and between the different modules of the CAS:
Your workflow will vary from a few hours per week to up to 15 hours per week, depending on your availability and the needs of the CAS. We would like this position to start on Monday, July 17th.
Join a dynamic team at ETH Zurich and contribute to impactful initiatives in the field of regenerative materials.
