About the Company

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with capabilities of up to 500 kilograms. We offer industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and clearly define system requirements for unmanned helicopter systems.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure they align with project goals and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Requirements Management: Maintain a requirements traceability matrix to track changes and ensure compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams—including design, software, and testing—to communicate requirements and ensure effective implementation.
  • Verification and Validation: Develop and execute plans to verify and validate system requirements through rigorous testing and analysis.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with requirements, contributing to effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in requirements engineering, applying best practices to enhance processes and workflows.

Competencies & Duties

  • Ability to work independently and responsibly, performing tasks efficiently.
  • Adherence to ANAVIA's employment policies, including compliance with company safety protocols, quality manuals, and work instructions.
  • Willingness to engage in international travel, which may account for up to 25% of work time.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven background in data analysis, preferably within the aerospace or UAV industry; familiarity with flight data analysis is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities complemented by excellent technical understanding.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with high social acumen.
  • Language: Strong proficiency in English (both oral and written); knowledge of German is desirable.
  • Passport: Open to Swiss/EU Nationals only.
  • Location: On-site in Näfels, Switzerland.
