Your Tasks

Are you interested in scientific computing and software quality assurance? Do you want hands-on experience writing automated test suites for software used in cutting-edge research?

We are looking for a Summer Student to join our team at PSI and help improve the reliability of our software. Your work will directly contribute to scientific experiments at PSI's photon facilities, ensuring our tools are robust and error-free.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing automated test suites for scientific software
• Designing and implementing unit and integration tests
• Working closely with developers to enhance code quality and reliability
• Learning best practices in software testing and quality assurance

Your Profile

• You are in your last year of Bachelor’s studies or pursuing a Master’s degree in computer science, a natural science, or engineering
• You possess a good working knowledge of English and strong Python skills
