Your Responsibilities
Support Scientific Project Work within CEREBRIS:
- Assist with the acquisition and analysis of multimodal data (EEG, fNIRS, MRI, CT, motion capture, clinical scores).
- Help develop and validate neurophysiological markers in alignment with imaging-derived biomarkers.
- Contribute to bias and fairness analyses for AI-based biomarkers.
- Support the development of clinically deployable AI by benchmarking against validation frameworks.
- Implement ISO 9241-210-compliant usability studies (dashboards, ePRO/eCRF).
Clinical Trial Coordination and Data Management:
- Recruit and manage clinical trials involving stroke patients.
- Obtain informed consent (German required; Swiss German is an advantage).
- Manage the REDCap database.
- Oversee study logistics, SOP implementation, and monitoring support.
- Ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the main contact point for the clinical trial center.
Support Scientific Publication and Dissemination:
- Assist with publishing research in high-impact international journals.
- Support the presentation of findings at national and international conferences.
- Help prepare reports for project partners and funding agencies.
Support Health Technology Assessment & Translation:
- Contribute to early HTA micro-scenarios.
- Support the development of modeled cost-benefit scenarios within the Swiss healthcare system.
- Assist in preparing payer and stakeholder briefings.
Your Profile
- Completed Master's degree (MSc) in Biomedicine, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, Data Science, Physio- or Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of trial management, statistics, and study design.
- Basic experience in Python and strong familiarity with REDCap or comparable systems; an understanding of clinical workflows and processes.
- Experience conducting clinical trials and patient recruitment is mandatory; basic knowledge of neuroimaging or motion capture is a plus.
Professional Responsibility: Independent planning and execution of defined study modules with accountability for data integrity. Development of methodological standards for translational AI in stroke. Financial Responsibility involves no budget management but resource planning within allocated project funding.
Collaboration: Close cooperation with Postdocs, project leadership, and international consortium partners. Collaboration with neurology, radiology, and neurophysiology departments; interaction with data scientists and industry partners is expected.
Reporting Duties: Regular reporting to project leadership and comprehensive documentation aligned with GCP standards.
