SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENGINEER

Join our Information Technology Department within the Software Architecture team as a Software Solution Engineer. As a pivotal member of our development team, you will drive the evolution of innovative products within the biotech sector. You will analyze requirements to design state-of-the-art standards, whether for standalone software or comprehensive systems, adhering to best practices.

Initially, you will be entrusted with the conceptual development of Securecell’s new disruptive products, followed by subsequent projects. In this role, you'll advise both internal and external specialist teams (co-development approach) and make decisions that consider the overall success of the company. You will establish standards for methodologies and development processes, while also creating the necessary documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies (FH / Uni / ETH) in engineering, preferably in IT / computer science.
• At least three years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in software development with experience in enterprise-grade applications and a hands-on mindset.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and translate architectural decisions into technical solutions.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capacity to navigate complexity within a large technical stack.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, particularly LTS distributions and Oracle Linux (preferred but open to alternatives).
• Experience working with enterprise databases, particularly Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and secure coding methodologies.
• Industry experience in MedTech/Biotech is beneficial, but a strong interest and awareness of the regulated environment are essential.
• Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid work permit is required; only online applications matching the job profile will be considered.
