Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by a team of experienced engineers who are dedicated to revolutionizing air travel over the next decade. We leverage cutting-edge technologies, including computer vision, deep learning, and robotics, to develop fully autonomous "level-5" flying vehicles.

Your Role

As the leader of the Tooling team, you will take a hands-on approach to your responsibilities. Utilize your expertise in infrastructure, user interface, and systems interfaces to create applications that will play a critical role in certifying our first machine learning-based products in aviation. You will be accountable for all of our non-flying software solutions, ranging from DevOps-related tools to team-specific infrastructures and the development of in-house solutions. You will experience direct feedback and invaluable appreciation from your colleagues as you enhance their work experience with well-designed development tools.

Qualifications

You are a smart, results-oriented individual with the following qualifications:

• Experience with big data pipelines and distributed processing.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Applied software engineering skills in Rust.
• Insight to transition from throwaway shell scripts to well-written, appropriately engineered server solutions.

Experience with image and video processing is a plus, though not mandatory.
