Position Available: Software Developer with Focus on AI

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our Software Development team in Oetwil am See (Canton Zurich). In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform. We value a hands-on approach, a “get things done” mindset, and the ability to work creatively to solve complex problems. As a Software Developer, you will interact with various internal stakeholders to design and implement high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain AI pipelines, primarily focused on computer vision.
  • Prototype, demonstrate and validate new AI-driven use cases to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Contribute to drone flight and mission software (Android / Kotlin).
  • Collaborate closely with software and operations teams.
  • Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.

About You

  • Hands-on experience in AI / Machine Learning using Python and PyTorch.
  • High level of initiative and ownership: proactively bring your own ideas, challenge existing approaches, and continuously seek to improve solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of geometry, spatial reasoning, and geospatial data.
  • Experience in drone or robotics software development, as well as mobile development in Android/Kotlin, is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
