Join PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) as a Social Media Specialist

PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is a renowned international feminist peacebuilding organization based in Bern, Switzerland. We are seeking a talented social media specialist with proven experience in creating engaging content and developing impactful social media strategies for political campaigns in Switzerland. Our ideal candidate shares our feminist values and is eager to collaborate, providing valuable insights that bolster our outreach efforts both locally and internationally. While the position will primarily be remote, occasional visits to our Bern office would be beneficial. This collaboration is expected to run from April to the end of October 2026, with the possibility of extension until December to be discussed.

Deliverables

In close partnership with PWAG's communication and network & advocacy teams, the successful candidate will:

• Support the creation, strategy, and implementation of a political campaign (content will be provided, and close coordination with external actors is expected) (time frame: April-June)
• Create content, mentor, and assist PWAG staff in effective social media communication and marketing (time frame: spring-autumn)
• Support social media activities for an event in October

What We Are Looking For

• Proven track record of social media work and political campaigning in Switzerland
• Excellent command of English and German, with professional working proficiency in French (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong alignment with PWAG's values and principles

Be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic feminist team, supporting feminist causes while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Our budget for this assignment is CHF 5,000.

Timeline

• Start: Mid-March/beginning of April 2026
• End: The end of October, with the possibility of extending until mid-November/mid-December upon mutual agreement
