Site Manager / SIM (m/f)
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure professional and reliable management of outages and inspections for our Service Business, leveraging your broad knowledge and passion for our GT26 gas turbines.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage international field teams on power plant outages in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Ensure strict compliance with Ansaldo Energia's environmental, health, and safety policies.
- Oversee dedicated project control on-site regarding quality, time, and cost.
- Represent Ansaldo Energia to clients, partners, sub-contractors, and local authorities.
- Organize and implement site kick-off meetings and daily coordination/feedback meetings with all on-site parties.
- Collaborate closely with other Ansaldo Energia departments, local organizations, field staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Set tasks and priorities, including deadlines, for the site team.
- Ensure the availability of local resources and materials for both planned and unplanned work.
- Facilitate effective feedback transfer to the home office.
Your Profile
- A minimum of three years of experience managing construction or commissioning sites, preferably related to gas turbine maintenance.
- Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with strong negotiation and communication capabilities.
- A motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented team player able to proactively manage conflicts.
- A qualified education and professional background relevant to the heavy rotating machinery sector.
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure, with a willingness to travel globally.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Deadline-driven working methods alongside professional planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
