Senior Supplier Performance Manager (m/f/d)

As our Senior Supplier Performance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for optimizing delivery and quality performance from our suppliers at a group level through continuous KPI monitoring, tiered performance management, and driving improvements. This position has opened due to an internal move.
Your Tasks
- Continuously track and analyze supplier delivery and quality performance at a group level.
- Create and maintain comprehensive KPI dashboards to visualize and assess supplier performance metrics.
- Implement tiered performance management systems and support the supplier escalation process to enable local and global procurement teams to manage ordering processes effectively.
- Engage in regular meetings with local GF companies and functional stakeholders to discuss and enhance supplier performance.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in supplier performance, with a focus on delivery and quality.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to key stakeholders across all levels.
- Address and resolve supplier performance issues in collaboration with local and global procurement teams.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead training sessions for subsidiaries or related entities on supplier development topics.
Your Profile
- A master's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, procurement/purchasing, or operations management.
- At least 6 years of experience in Supplier Performance Management or a related field within an industrial environment.
- A strong background in supply chain and/or procurement.
- Project management experience and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Data analysis and KPI reporting proficiency (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Sievo, Tableau).
- Knowledge of audit or compliance will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
- Fluent English language skills; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
