Do you have a passion for digital products? Are you eager to influence the future of digital banking? This is an exciting opportunity to connect your skills with UX research and insights derived from empirical data. In this role, you will collaborate with our banking client’s UX Design team to develop sustainable digital solutions in Zürich. We offer a hybrid work model combining remote and on-site work at our client’s office. This position is a fixed-term opportunity for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute user research projects from scoping to delivery using methods like interviews, surveys, usability tests, and data analysis.
- Advocate for the user throughout the design and development process, translating research insights into actionable recommendations.
- Analyze user interactions and behaviors through metrics and KPIs, employing analytical tools to inform and influence design decisions.
- Utilize UX tools such as Figma and Sketch for prototyping, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity designs.
- Prepare and present research reports for the design team, product owners, and other stakeholders across the company to determine the best course of action.
- Facilitate workshops and work closely with UX/UI designers, business analysts, product managers, and developers to implement and iterate on design solutions, finding optimal resolutions for our clients.
- Create and manage client journey maps to visualize and address pain points and issues, enhancing the journey experience.
- Share insights and best practices across the company, empowering and coaching fellow team members.
Qualifications
- University degree (master’s degree preferred) in Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX research, experience design, and/or innovation management.
- Proficiency in standard research methodologies including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing; a diverse skill set covering both qualitative and quantitative methods (statistical inference proficiency preferred).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of research projects across different sectors.
- Fluency in both German and English.
