Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of an international project and commissioning team that provides control systems for high-power rectifiers to clients in the Aluminum, Arc Furnace, and Chemical industries. Your Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and engineer tailored industrial systems, including electrical schematics, customer-specific software (PLC), and system testing, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Manage technical and commercial aspects of high-power rectifier systems (up to 100 kA/2000 V), including detailed engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance worldwide.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to verify technical solutions, address issues, and conduct customer training.
  • Contribute to new product development projects and support innovation initiatives.

Qualifications for the Role

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, along with several years of experience in engineering and commissioning of High Power Rectifier Systems.
  • Sound knowledge in E-CAD (E3 – Zuken) and PLC programming (AC 800PEC, Allen-Bradley, and ABB Panel 800 series), complemented by a high affinity for IT (hardware, software, and protocols).
  • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to adhering to all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German and any additional language is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (30%-40%).
