Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

As a Manager in our growing business tax team, you will provide tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will be working on global engagements and collaborating with your team to offer international organizations premier services in global tax technology. Your primary focus will be on technology addressing direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”) and direct tax compliance. Ultimately, you will enable our clients to confidently navigate the evolving Swiss and international tax landscape.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Collaborate with your team to develop best-practice solutions, assisting clients in analyzing and implementing processes to meet the challenges posed by GloBE.
• Utilize knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to advise clients, implementing tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Conduct client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool alongside other GloBE, tax provision, and automation technologies.
• Train your team to deliver live software demonstrations.
• Respond to clients’ needs effectively to provide sound advice on tax technology and broader tax process issues.
• Adopt a pragmatic approach to addressing client challenges in tax technology, particularly regarding GloBE.
• Coordinate and oversee international teams in implementing tax technology, maintaining an overview of client demands and project statuses.
• Collect input from subject matter experts to ensure the best possible advice for our clients.
• Assist clients in enhancing their operating strategies and organizing tax functions, processes, and risk management.
• Enable our clients and teams to transition into the digital age, keeping pace with innovations and technologies in tax.

Who We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in data transformation, including building extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, and data transformation pipelines.
• Experience presenting to clients and leading technical discussions on global tax tools, adapting solutions to client-specific needs.
• Involvement in developing tax technology solutions, including gathering and implementing client requirements and change requests.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, Power Query, and programming languages like Python or SQL, particularly in handling large data sets.
• Previous support for bids and proposals as part of a client advisory team.
• Ideally, familiarity with Agile, Lean, and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage but not essential.
