Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance and other lines of services, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the start, taking on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Acting as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Directly leading a variety of client projects, such as M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, or valuations.
• Managing the lifecycle of projects from proposals through delivery to invoicing.
• Business development: identifying new business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participating in and leading thought leadership initiatives.
• Overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and training to performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You possess a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary (“Actuary SAA”) or hold an equivalent qualification.
• You have relevant experience in an actuarial position, either in the insurance industry or in consulting.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, a genuine willingness to learn, and the ability to engage with diverse teams.
• You communicate confidently in German and English with various stakeholders.
• You possess proven business development experience.
