Our Actuarial team provides a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance as well as various service lines, such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from day one, taking on day-to-day responsibilities that help deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Serve as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
• Manage the lifecycle of projects from proposals to invoicing.
• Drive business development by identifying new ideas and opportunities, generating new business with both internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition and training, as well as conducting performance reviews and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary, such as “Actuary SAA” or an equivalent certification.
• You bring experience in an actuarial role, either within the insurance industry or in consulting.
• You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, demonstrating a real willingness to learn, make a difference, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• You communicate confidently in both German and English with stakeholders at various levels.
• You have demonstrated experience in business development.
