Help our clients successfully manage global challenges. Our Actuarial team offers a comprehensive range of actuarial support in life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We regularly collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as with lines of services like Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation, working on large-scale projects.

In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team from the outset, taking on day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Act as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
  • Lead a variety of client projects, including M&A transactions, pension fund audits, and valuations.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
  • Engage in business development by identifying new business ideas and opportunities with internal and external clients.
  • Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You possess a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
  • You are a qualified actuary (“Actuary SAA”) or equivalent.
  • You have experience in an actuarial role, either in the insurance industry or in consulting.
  • You exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a genuine willingness to learn and make a difference, and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • You can communicate confidently in both German and English with stakeholders at various levels.
  • You have demonstrated proven experience in business development.
