Help Our Clients Successfully Manage Global Challenges

Our Actuarial team offers a comprehensive range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We frequently collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance, as well as across various service lines such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, and Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects. In this role, you will join an experienced project team from the outset, taking on responsibilities to lead projects or workstreams and deliver reliable solutions.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and mentor the actuarial team for life insurance.
• Lead business development initiatives for the actuarial team in life and health insurance.
• Deliver projects alongside other actuaries or within a multidisciplinary team, taking charge of specific workstreams or projects.

What to Expect

• Directly leading a variety of client projects, including actuarial transformation projects, M&A transactions, audits, or valuations.
• Managing the project lifecycle from proposals, contracting, and delivery to invoicing.
• Identifying business ideas and opportunities, generating new business with internal and external clients.
• Participating in and leading thought leadership initiatives.
• Overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You hold a University degree (ETH or equivalent) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• You are a qualified actuary (“Actuary SAA”) or possess an equivalent qualification.
• You have experience in an actuarial position, preferably in consulting within the Swiss market.
• You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and make a difference while enjoying collaboration with diverse teams.
• You communicate confidently in both German and English at various stakeholder levels—proficiency in German/Swiss German is essential.
• You have proven business development experience.
• You have an affinity for technology, working with actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
