Your Impact
As a Data Architect in our AI & Data team, you will guide senior stakeholders at client organizations in making informed architectural decisions and leading the design and implementation of innovative enterprise-wide solutions.
Key Areas of Impact:
- Lead Enterprise Data Architecture Design: Support clients in modernizing complex system landscapes, including MDM, CRM, ERP, and Cloud DWH, while working closely with senior stakeholders to establish pragmatic architecture standards.
- Lead Cloud Data Platform Design & Implementation: Assist in the construction of scalable, high-performance Cloud data platforms tailored to business needs, focusing on data modeling, integration, and operational excellence.
- Architect Integrated Solutions: Design and build crucial integrations between various platforms, ensuring seamless business process execution and effective data product delivery.
- Market Positioning: Enhance our architectural footprint through industry events and engagements with key clients, internal teams, and alliance partners.
- Knowledge Development: Mentor junior team members and foster strategic expertise building within Switzerland and through collaboration with near- and offshore teams.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Data Architect, having led teams in creating complex cloud-based ecosystems.
- Engineering background with hands-on data platform implementation experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Proven experience in evaluating data architecture decisions and influencing strategic direction.
- Capability to guide data engineers in best practices, familiar with industrial coding quality tools.
- Experience with various database types, including structured, semi-structured, and graph-based models. Nice to have: experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).

Technical Expertise:
- Strong skills in data modeling methods with experience/certifications from DAMA, TOGAF, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience designing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise in architecting modern data platforms and designing E2E architectures for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Experience with Data Integration & ETL processes and familiarity with tools such as Informatica or DBT.
- Familiarity with programming frameworks and data formats, including SQL, Python, Spark, and big data formats like Parquet.
