The Role

As a Senior Underwriter, you will work in an exciting international environment based in Zurich, Switzerland. You will be the primary point of contact for technical topics related to corporate customers, handling complex new and renewal cases as part of a team specializing in Life, Disability, Accident, and Group Medical underwriting.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for:

• Using a disciplined approach to assess the risk of new and renewal business in your customer portfolio.
• Collaborating with our sales teams to acquire new corporate customers.
• Working closely with account managers and network partners to win and retain business in the best interest of ZGEBS and our customers.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of tools and processes that support the underwriting area.
• Participating in the ongoing performance management of the book of business.

What You Bring

You should have:

• Practical experience in pricing and underwriting Group Life and/or Medical Insurance schemes, with a minimum of 6 years in Employee Benefits insurance or relevant industry experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to discuss and convey technical topics to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• The capability to quickly understand and apply new technical information related to risk assessment.
• The ability to comprehend, interpret, and translate customer requirements into deliverable solutions.
