As a key member of the senior management team, you will develop and implement capital outlay strategies for the region while driving capital expenditure (Capex) optimization. Your efforts will ensure alignment with the company strategy, specifically focusing on Sail27 within the Capex plan and execution. You will work on various initiatives including the Carlsberg Excellence foundations, decarbonization strategies, and addressing commercial and business needs that involve product portfolio changes, managing regional asset obsolescence, refining brewery infrastructure, and ensuring business continuity through effective asset risk management.
You will be responsible for closing performance gaps and fostering continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs through the effective application of Carlsberg Excellence methodologies. This includes optimizing engineering costs and operations, implementing automation and operational technology (OT) practices, and reviewing best practices and failures with the ultimate goal of enhancing cost efficiency and performance.
It is essential to effectively and efficiently introduce new materials, technologies, and equipment in response to business-driven needs for new products. Your presence on the shop floor will prioritize Gemba Walks to engage with and mentor shop floor colleagues on a regular basis.
Your role will include strong support for building the capabilities of core shop floor teams. This encompasses the transfer of Early Equipment Management knowledge, fostering problem-solving skills, and promoting cost ownership among team members.
You will contribute to the development of the regional Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) strategy as a member of the regional ISC leadership team. Additionally, you will drive and deploy the Group/Regional Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) strategy within the engineering function.
Ensuring compliance with all Carlsberg standard methods, tools, and processes in accordance with regional and global agreements will be a priority. Engaging actively in the regional and global engineering best practice community is essential for staying aligned with industry standards.
You will focus on developing people, as well as local and regional engineering teams, in the areas of project management and operational technology (OT) in line with company guidelines. Promoting competencies and skills development will be aligned with our agreed ISC vision.
