About the Role
We are in search of a Senior Delivery Manager specializing in the Insurance sector to bolster our Delivery Management Team. You will be responsible for steering end-to-end client projects while closely collaborating with our Account Managers and Business Development teams.
Success in this role requires the ability to engage with clients and team members autonomously, as well as the capacity to design strategies that are aligned with EPAM's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete client delivery process from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are executed successfully in alignment with EPAM processes.
- Manage client relationships and expectations, representing delivery at various project, program, and governance levels.
- Address client issues and identify engagement risks, ensuring that clients fulfill their responsibilities.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals and statements of work.
- Run multiple project streams and liaise with client technical and business teams across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Be accountable for delivery aspects including financial performance, sourcing, implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with peers, delivery partners, technology consultants, account managers, and solution architects.
- Work closely with diverse teams of product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance experts to formulate estimates, delivery plans, and retrospectives, while identifying and managing engagement risks effectively.
- Engage in business development activities for existing clients and new prospects. Continuously identify opportunities to drive growth for your accounts.
- Lead delivery representation in sales and presales activities, contributing to the growth of the business within the Insurance domain.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Account/Delivery/Project Management within consulting or outsourcing, with at least 3 years in the Insurance domain.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and engaging with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to represent the company at external events effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and various methodologies, along with practical experience in agile delivery.
- Hands-on experience with diverse engagement models such as Time & Materials, Fixed Price, and Contract Terms.
- Solid knowledge of Software Architecture designs and principles.
- Strong grasp of IT Service Management processes, engagement models, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional skill in building working relationships with clients and collaborating effectively within dynamic, dispersed teams.
- Outstanding organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in German or French.
