Mission
The Pallet Insights squad at Verity assists clients in optimizing warehouse operations by combining data from our fully autonomous drones with data from their existing systems. This integration unlocks critical inventory insights, enabling clients to detect and resolve issues while enhancing their processes to achieve a zero-error warehouse.
We are seeking a technical leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to push the boundaries of warehouse automation.
Your Role
- Develop new features for our autonomous inventory system, ensuring seamless integration with client operations and outstanding user satisfaction.
- Own projects end-to-end, from concept to production, in collaboration with your squad and product manager.
- Drive engineering excellence by improving system architecture, testing strategies, and development workflows.
- Develop cloud-based features, applications, services, and pipelines as part of a cross-functional team, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Work closely with product managers and clients to gain an in-depth understanding of the product and design impactful, high-value solutions.
- Maintain top-tier software quality through testing, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and active participation in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and process improvements.
Your Experience
- Degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
- 8+ years of professional hands-on experience in developing and delivering production-grade software, preferably in the context of distributed event-based systems, machine learning, and data-intensive applications.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions, manage stakeholders, and take full ownership of projects and solutions.
- Highly skilled Python application developer with extensive experience deploying and operating workloads in the cloud, preferably on AWS.
- Additional plus:
- Knowledge of machine/deep-learning algorithms and infrastructure.
- Experience building applications following Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design paradigms.
- Experience with edge computing.
