Job Description
We are seeking an experienced individual to conduct integrated audits of multinational companies or Swiss subsidiaries of SEC-listed organizations. This role includes reporting to KPMG U.S. and collaborating with other group auditors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Auditing spin-offs, disposals, opening balance sheets, and acquired businesses in connection with various business combinations.
- Supporting transaction-based projects that require expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB, ISA, and SEC reporting (including comfort letters, agreed-upon procedures, and reviews of registration statements).
- Processing financial statement conversions both to and from US GAAP.
- Delivering accounting and SOX advisory services to non-audit clients.
- Coaching Swiss-based audit teams on technical US accounting, auditing, and reporting inquiries.
- Conducting internal and external training on US GAAP, PCAOB/US GAAS, or IFRS.
- Potentially supporting ESG assurance engagements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, SEC requirements, and US GAAS/PCAOB audit methodologies or International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Between 2-5 years of recent audit experience (PCAOB & US GAAP or PCAOB & IFRS or ISA & IFRS) ideally with KPMG or another Big 4 firm.
- Completed U.S. CPA license or equivalent (or currently obtaining it).
- Proficiency in researching accounting and auditing issues.
- Ability to deliver high-quality services under tight deadlines.
- Proficient English language skills (additional German and other foreign languages are a plus).
- Experience in using Data & Analytics and knowledge of Audit ESG is a plus.
