Key Responsibilities

As a proven specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will be the primary point of contact for orthopaedic and Sports Medicine surgeons, operating room managers, and staff within hospitals and clinics. In this essential role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive sales and product advice in the fields of orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
  • Systematically plan and organize your field service activities.
  • Establish long-term relationships with physicians, operating room staff, buyers, and other decision-makers.
  • Strengthen existing product lines while introducing innovative solutions.
  • Organize and conduct further training events, workshops, and customer training for medical professionals.
  • Achieve general and specific sales targets related to market penetration and sales growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and action plans in collaboration with the sales manager.
  • Represent the business unit at conferences and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device sector.
  • Fluent in German and English (business proficiency required).
  • Previous experience in Medical Device Sales, Operating Room Sales, Operating Theatres, Orthopaedic Devices, or Sports Medicine is essential.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel across the German region.
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with excellent execution skills and professional presence.
  • Customer-oriented personality with a results-driven approach.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals.
  • Determination, self-motivation, and a willingness to perform.
  • Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
  • Creative and open to change.
  • Independent, dynamic, resilient, and entrepreneurial in nature.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Additional Information

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to form a standalone entity operating as DePuy Synthes. This separation process is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements and necessary consultations.
