Sales Consultant - Orthopaedics / Trauma

We are seeking a strong, customer-focused, and communicative personality to join us as a Sales Consultant in Trauma, with opportunities in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone looking to take the next step into a dynamic, high-performance environment, where you can make a meaningful impact and grow.

As a proven specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will serve as the key point of contact for orthopaedic and trauma surgeons, OR managers, and operating room staff in hospitals and clinics. In this central role, you will coordinate and ensure the correct application of our high-quality, innovative products while proactively identifying new business opportunities and managing corresponding sales projects within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive sales and product advice in the field of orthopaedics and trauma.
  • Systematically plan and organize your own field service activities.
  • Build long-term customer relationships with physicians, operating room staff, buyers, and other decision-makers.
  • Strengthen existing product lines and introduce product innovations.
  • Organize and implement training events (workshops, customer training) for medical professionals.
  • Achieve general and specific sales targets regarding market penetration and sales.
  • Develop and implement sales and action plans in collaboration with the sales manager.
  • Represent the business unit at congresses.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the medical device sector.
  • Clear sales-driven mindset with excellent execution skills and professional presence.
  • Highly customer-oriented with a strong results orientation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals.
  • Determination, self-motivation, and a willingness to perform.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • High flexibility with a willingness to travel within your region.
  • Creativity and openness to change.
  • Independent, dynamic, resilient, and entrepreneurial personality.
  • Fluent in German and English in a business context.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
