Job Description
- Participate in the construction of roads and other roadway infrastructures according to plans and specifications.
- Carry out excavation, grading, and soil compaction work to prepare foundations.
- Install and assemble pavement elements, including curbs, sidewalks, and gutters.
- Implement asphalt surfacing using machines or manually.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as compactors, rollers, and paving machines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and requirements in a safe environment.
We Expect
- A diploma as a road builder (CFC) or equivalent.
- Machine operator permits are a plus.
- Hands-on experience in road construction or a related field.
- Knowledge of road construction techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to use construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse and sometimes demanding environments.
- Mobility within the canton is required.
