Job Opportunity: Risk Analyst - IT & Cyber Security (Fixed Term – 6 months)
We are seeking a Risk Analyst specializing in IT & Cyber Security to join our client, a prominent reinsurance company based in Zurich. This temporary role is designed to enhance the Risk Management function by focusing on the oversight of IT and cyber risks, contributing to ongoing assessments, and supporting governance and reporting activities in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Role Overview
The Risk Analyst will have key responsibilities that include:
- Supporting the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager during peak workload periods for managing RCSA delivery related to IT & Cyber Security risks.
- Assisting in the implementation of projects focused on IT and Cyber Risk Governance.
- Developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for IT and Cyber Security risks to enhance monitoring and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT risk, cyber security, or audit.
- Familiarity with risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and FINMA.
- Understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services.
- Knowledge of emerging cyber threats and risk trends.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001) are a plus.
