Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks crucial to our preclinical discovery programs, including:
- Screening human antibodies for different preclinical discovery initiatives.
- Cultivating and manipulating mammalian cells.
- Operating various liquid handlers and robotic systems.
- Conducting initial characterization of antibody candidates.
- Documenting and reporting results to the team.
- Supporting antibody cloning, production, and characterization activities.
This role requires an individual who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- BSc or training as a laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field in biological sciences.
- Proficiency in the handling and cultivation of eukaryotic cells.
- Experience with immunological techniques (such as ELISA and Western Blotting) and biophysical techniques (including SPR and BLI).
- Additional experience with laboratory techniques like cloning and protein expression is advantageous.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on deliverables.
