Position Overview: Quality Specialist Kitting

As a Quality Specialist Kitting, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections of parts or modules for transportation damage. You will verify the accuracy of documentation, ensure the availability of required quantities of parts or modules, and create labels in SAP for unserviceable items. Your role will focus on adhering to required standards and ensuring the technical Onlog in SAP is accurate.

Your Tasks

  • Work on CFM-56, LEAP, GTF, PW-4000 parts and modules.
  • Conduct visual inspections for transport damage of parts and modules and check quantities.
  • Complete and verify the SAP Onlog structure.
  • Review the LLP sheet (life-limited part) for accurate part installations.
  • Organize the exchange and return of materials with the material coordinator team.
  • Communicate with Engineering and Material Master for necessary SAP data adjustments.
  • Store parts and modules in their designated places.
  • Sign off on technical and administrative tasks according to relevant guidelines.
  • Complete tasks on time while ensuring quality in the finished work.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma concepts (Lean Events, Root Cause Analysis, 5S) to foster continuous improvement.

Your Profile

  • Apprenticeship as a technician or equivalent is required.
  • Self-discipline, responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a strong teamwork ethic are essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quality-driven industry, preferably within the MRO sector, demonstrating a significant understanding of operational activities.
  • A quality and safety-driven mindset.
  • The ability to work with precision, independence, and detail-oriented focus.
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
  • Fluency in German (C1) and English (B2) is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good knowledge of SAP is essential.
  • Holding a *release to service* license is a significant advantage; a willingness to develop to this level is highly desirable.
