Join Our Team as a Project Manager for Gas Turbines
You will be part of the project management team responsible for product development and support of Ansaldo Energia’s E- and F-class gas turbine portfolio. In this role, you will lead activities related to structural components and rotors, ensuring their performance and reliability. Additionally, you will play a key role in resolving field issues and providing support to the Customer Service organization.
Your Tasks
- Manage product development activities according to Ansaldo Energia’s product development process, which includes product definition, design, validation, and handover.
- Coordinate and lead the development work within the Gas Turbine Integration team.
- Interact with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
- Lead root cause analyses of field issues and develop effective solutions.
- Prepare, execute, and analyze engine tests.
- Provide outage support.
- Organize technical reviews.
- Oversee project management tasks, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and cost forecasting and control.
Your Profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in gas turbine development or service.
- Strong knowledge in one or more of the relevant technical disciplines: aerodynamics, cooling, mechanical integrity, design, or manufacturing.
- Sound knowledge of at least one of Ansaldo’s E- and F-class engines (GT26, AE94.3A, AE94.2, or AE64.3A).
- Proven project management skills, including focus, prioritization, and adherence to deadlines and commitments.
- Open-minded, proactive, analytical, and target-oriented team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel worldwide occasionally.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage, and further knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
