Our client in the St. Gallen region is a well-established organization with extensive experience in the manufacturing and assembly of highly precise mechanical components. To strengthen their team, they are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about precision engineering.

Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the independent manufacturing of complex and precise workpieces. As a polymechanic, you will program and set up modern 5-axis milling and turning centers with pallet storage, ensuring that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the execution of orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documentation and adherence to productivity targets
  • Working in compliance with quality standards EN9100 and ISO9001
  • Actively contributing to the optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to enhance production efficiency and quality

Your expertise will be valued in a dynamic team environment where you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in large part machining.

We Expect

  • Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ in the manufacturing sector
  • Several years of experience in large part machining
  • Proficient handling of CNC 5-axis milling/turning centers or CNC 9-axis turning/milling centers
  • Solid knowledge in CAM programming (Mastercam or MDM is an advantage)
  • Team-oriented and quality-conscious work approach
  • Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
