Our client in the St. Gallen region is an established company with many years of experience in the manufacturing and assembly of high-precision mechanical components. They are looking for a dedicated specialist to strengthen their team.

Job Description

In this responsible position as a CNC mechanic, you will be tasked with the independent manufacturing of complex and precise workpieces. As a polymechanic, you will program and set up modern 5-axis milling and turning centers with pallet storage, ensuring that the highest quality standards are upheld throughout the order execution process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documentation of manufacturing processes
  • Adherence to productivity targets
  • Working according to quality standards EN9100 and ISO9001
  • Actively contributing to the optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborating closely with other departments to enhance efficiency and quality of production

Your expertise will be highly valued in a dynamic team environment, allowing you to further develop your skills in large part machining.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ in the manufacturing sector
  • Several years of experience in large part machining
  • Proficient handling of CNC 5-axis milling/turning centers or CNC 9-axis turning/milling centers
  • Solid knowledge in CAM programming (Mastercam or MDM is an advantage)
  • Team-oriented and quality-conscious working style
  • Sense of responsibility and initiative
