Position Overview
As part of our global SAP S/4HANA transformation, we are seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist (m/f/d). In this role, you will contribute to pre-project activities and operational process development in the area of Planning & Fulfillment.
This position is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in planning or supply chain operations who is eager to further develop their expertise in a global transformation setting. You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland, and report directly to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA pre-projects: Actively engage in preparatory activities such as process analysis, requirement clarification, data assessments, and concept preparation within Planning & Fulfillment.
- Work on planning-relevant master data: Analyze, enhance, and help govern master data used for planning and capacity management, collaborating with business and system stakeholders.
- Drive the development of P&F processes: Partner with process owners to document, analyze, and evolve operational planning and fulfillment processes.
- Contribute to capacity planning topics: Support analyses and conceptual work related to capacity planning, planning horizons, and bottleneck transparency.
- Ensure transparency and documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, guidelines, training materials, and SharePoint content to facilitate standardization, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
- Act as a cross-functional interface: Collaborate closely with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and IT to ensure alignment between divisional business requirements and system-related solutions.
Your Background
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or process improvement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP-based processes (SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA required), particularly in planning-related contexts.
- Good understanding of planning processes and the critical role of master data in operational and tactical decision-making.
- Initial hands-on experience in project work or sub-projects (e.g., process harmonization, system rollouts, transformation initiatives).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, sharing responsibility for results and deliverables.
- Highly structured and analytical working style, capable of breaking down complex topics into clear and actionable work packages.
- Strong focus on process quality, collaboration, and end-to-end thinking across functions.
- Fluent in English and German.
