What You Can Expect

We are offering an exclusive PhD position to a talented and highly motivated student. This position involves investigating interactions between metallopharmaceuticals and cells using a diverse range of biochemical and cell biological methods. The applicant will also have the unique opportunity to collaborate interdisciplinary with various research groups at the University of Bern and Inselspital Bern.

Your Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a Master's degree in cell biology, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedicine, or pharmacy. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and enjoy facing multifaceted scientific challenges. While experience in molecular biology, tissue culture, or related techniques is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

As a university hospital employee, you will benefit from a state-of-the-art research environment. The position will be funded for a period of three years and supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. J. T. Heverhagen. This PhD position is full time and compensated in accordance with the Swiss National Science Foundation guidelines.
