Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct research involving spatial sampling and measurement campaigns, remote sensing, and computational analyses to study individual and population-level differences in beech trees and their environmental responses (70%)
  • Teaching (5%)
  • Participating in group activities and performing other related duties (5%)
  • Completing coursework required for the degree

Your Profile

  • A Master of Science (MSc) or equivalent degree from an accredited academic institution (required)
  • Knowledge in spatial ecology, spatial genetics, ecological genomics, or related fields; specialized knowledge of forests is a plus
  • Experience in acquiring and/or working with spatial and/or remote sensing data
  • Fieldwork experience or experience in common garden experiments
  • Proficiency in data analysis using open and reproducible methods
