Job Opportunity: Live-In Nanny for Professional Family

A professional working couple is seeking an experienced, reliable, gentle, and caring live-in nanny for a long-term sole-charge position to provide care for their preschool-age daughter on the picturesque Lake Zurich. The anticipated start date for this role is August 2025.

Work Hours

The work hours will be Monday through Friday, totaling 45-50 hours per week, with occasional night shifts during the week as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the child
• Designing fun and engaging age-appropriate activities
• Supporting and guiding the child's developmental milestones
• Teaching and tutoring as the child grows
• Managing all laundry and tidying duties related to the child and play areas (note: a housekeeper is available for general cleaning)

Qualifications

An experienced nanny with a minimum of 10 years in the field, possessing a solid understanding of child development stages, is essential. Fluency in both German and English is required, with proficiency in French or Italian considered a bonus.

Accommodation and Additional Information

The nanny will be provided with a separate apartment and will have access to a car; therefore, a confident driver is necessary. Some travel with the family during holidays will be required, and someone who is active and enjoys nature and the mountains will be the ideal fit. Please note that the family does not have any pets.
