Job Opportunity: Middle School Mathematics & Science Teacher
The International Section is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Middle School Mathematics & Science teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is set to begin in August 2026 and will involve a workload of 80 - 100%.
The successful candidate will teach students in Grades 7 and 8, delivering a Middle School Mathematics and Science curriculum that prepares students for progression into IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. The role involves designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster strong numeracy, scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and curiosity about the natural world.
Responsibilities
- Support students’ academic and personal development both within and beyond the classroom.
- Contribute to collaborative curriculum planning.
- Participate actively in the school’s rich co-curricular and extracurricular life.
- Engage with students in an international boarding school environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a closely related subject.
- Teaching qualification recognized for lower and upper secondary education.
- Proven teaching experience at the Middle School level.
- Highly motivated educator with excellent pedagogical skills and a strong commitment to student-centered learning.
- Confident, flexible, and collaborative professional who enjoys working with young people.
- EU/EFTA Citizenship.
