Position: Mechanic Engine Testing

As a Mechanic Engine Testing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Rigging & De-Rigging of Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF & LEAP engines for the engine test run in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals.
  • Performing final engine test runs of Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56, GTF & LEAP engines following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Conducting borescope inspections after the test runs.
  • Troubleshooting on the test cell.
  • Timely execution and independent self-control of performed orders.
  • Documenting activities assigned in accordance with regulations.
  • Driving continuous improvement of executed processes, with a focus on enhancing quality and reducing production costs.

Your Profile

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Technical background in engine test cell operations or completed vocational training in metal/mechanical fields (e.g., polymechanics, machine or automobile mechanics), with borescope inspection certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in inspection and maintenance tasks, demonstrating the ability to work independently with precision and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities complemented by clear and effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a two-shift schedule with a flexible and reliable approach.
  • A strong team player with an open-minded and dedicated attitude.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost efficiency in daily operations.
  • Good command of MS Office and SAP; English at B2 level, with German as a plus.
