Your Mission:
- Drive Operational Excellence: Assess and enhance operational discipline in Maintenance, Production Performance, and Mindset & Behaviours. Identify opportunities for throughput increase and create actionable breakthrough plans.
- Capability Building: Support local Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) teams in developing organizational capabilities. Design new tools, train employees on standardized practices (Syngenta Production System), and coach leaders for sustainable change.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with functional experts to codify new tools, processes, and behaviours. Conduct targeted audits, provide recommendations, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Change Leadership: Lead multifunctional teams to embed new ways of working, including Industry 4.0 tools and techniques. Influence at all levels—from shopfloor to senior management—ensuring successful adoption of best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Experience: Solid background in process engineering, production performance, maintenance, or lean leadership within manufacturing, ideally with significant exposure to chemical industry projects.
- Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex transformation projects, capability assessments, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Change Agent: Strong change management skills, capable of communicating and influencing across all organizational levels and diverse cultures.
- Lean/Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of lean principles, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Project Management Expertise: Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing activities, and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to interpret and utilize complex data systems (SAP, data warehouses), and translate insights into clear actions.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel and support project activities across multiple sites as needed.
- Education: MS/BS in industrial, engineering, or chemical sciences, or equivalent technical degree. Additional certifications in project or program management are a plus.
