Your Tasks
- Lead and promote a strong Safety and Quality Culture across all logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, Health, Environmental, SRT, and Airworthiness Authority requirements.
- Oversee the full implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring all SMS responsibilities are met.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to guarantee safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse and material-handling processes across the ZRH logistics network.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean principles, rigorous KPIs, data-driven performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage financial performance for the logistics area, including budgeting, cost control, and achieving cost-reduction and efficiency targets.
- Build, lead, and develop the logistics and warehousing team through clear objectives, structured follow-up, capability development, and effective resource planning.
- Ensure effective planning and execution of Kitting (marshalling), Ready-to-Service processes, and warehouse operations to meet turnaround time and service-quality targets.
- Define, optimize, and govern end-to-end material-transport processes, including collaboration with external logistics providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting all contractual service levels.
Your Profile
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 7 years of senior experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, including a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role and several years in a production-oriented environment.
- Proven experience in implementing e-commerce solutions, automation technologies, and digitalization initiatives in a logistics or warehousing setting.
- Strong background in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement in operational environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, suitable for guiding complex logistics operations.
- Solid understanding of aviation-specific regulations (e.g., EASA Part 145, MOE, NASP Cargo Manual) is a significant advantage.
- High language proficiency in German (C1) and English (C1).
