Our Treasury Advisory practice assists clients in tackling intricate Treasury challenges, ranging from strategy development and policy enhancements to process optimization and system implementation. We leverage profound Treasury process and technology expertise to create effective solutions.

The Treasury Advisory team is dedicated to delivering treasury-focused transformation programs using a holistic design approach and state-of-the-art technology. We partner with leading global technology providers, combining their tools with our expertise to serve our clients effectively.

How You Can Make an Impact

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leading Treasury Advisory projects that analyze Treasury operating models and optimize guidelines, banking, cash, and payment processes.
  • Assisting in Treasury Health Check/Review/Internal Audit engagements to benchmark Treasury organizations against market best practices.
  • Supporting evaluations and implementations of treasury management systems, such as SAP, Kyriba, FIS, among others.
  • Leading treasury workstreams in large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Facilitating Treasury conferences, workshops, and client-focused events.
  • Independently managing project workstreams.
  • Developing innovative ideas for solution optimization.
  • Ensuring engagement delivery and presenting project outcomes to client (senior) management.
  • Collaborating in international teams on larger assignments.

In addition to project delivery, you will play a pivotal role in the Treasury Advisory leadership team, with responsibilities including:

  • Generating leads by engaging with clients within the Swiss and wider European markets, collaborating with other Treasury experts in the Deloitte network.
  • Developing opportunities for sizeable and profitable engagements within the Treasury practice.
  • Leading and coaching junior team members.
  • Creating and publishing materials to articulate Deloitte's perspective on key Treasury topics and creating market visibility.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experienced Treasury professional with subject matter expertise in Corporate Treasury processes and systems.
  • Strong market presence in Switzerland with a network of Treasury professionals.
  • Proven consulting experience, with strong analytical and design thinking skills, and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • A collaborative individual who actively shares knowledge and ideas with colleagues.
  • A positive and enthusiastic person eager to advance a career in Treasury consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more SAP modules related to Treasury (e.g., Treasury & Risk Management, Cash Management, In-House Cash, Advanced Payment Management).
  • Implementation experience in at least one other treasury system is advantageous (e.g., Kyriba, FIS, ION, Coupa).
  • Extensive knowledge of Cash Management, Treasury Management, Payment Management, Inhouse Banking, and related processes, with experience in developing optimization recommendations.

Our Treasury Advisory team is part of the broader Finance Transformation practice, dedicated to helping clients transform their Finance organization by designing and implementing solutions across enterprise finance and supply chain, treasury transformations, and incorporating advanced technology applications such as artificial intelligence and IoT.

The Treasury Advisory practice collaborates closely with the wider Deloitte Treasury network, leveraging deep expertise and market insights globally. Most engagements include international teams comprised of SMEs and consultants working collaboratively to help clients achieve their goals.
