Role Overview

As the dedicated freight expert for our commodity traders, you will be at the heart of our commodity trading engine. This role serves as the key liaison between Logistics, Agricultural Trading, Chartering, and Operations, where you will develop and implement sophisticated pricing strategies to optimize our dry bulk freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily freight grids and handle ad-hoc requests.
• Analyze complex market dynamics to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
• Collaborate with Chartering to align internal and external pricing strategies, utilizing voyage market intelligence to enhance forward pricing.
• Provide expert market insights and guidance to internal partners.
• Work closely with Logistics and Freight Operations to improve vessel profitability, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
• Contribute to strategic fleet optimization and value creation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, establishing a culture of communication and collaboration in a high-performing environment.
