Job Description
- Operate earthmoving and civil engineering machines of various sizes (loaders, tracked or wheeled excavators, pavers, rollers, etc.).
- Dig and remove soil, stones, or gravel using a wheeled or tracked excavator equipped with a movable arm and bucket or a skip.
- Excavate trenches using a hydraulic excavator for sewers, drainage pipes, and pipelines for water, oil, and gas.
- Remove, distribute, and level soil with a bulldozer or scraper.
- Extract sand, gravel, and silt from the bottom of a water table using dredging equipment.
- Drive wooden, concrete, or steel piles into the ground with a machine equipped with a "mole" or vibrator.
- Level construction sites, roadways, and airfield runways.
- Compact and smooth layers of materials using a roller.
- Spread asphalt and tar on roads for maintenance.
- Lay bituminous concrete on areas or roads using a paver.
- Load trucks with materials.
- Organize the transport or relocation of equipment between job sites.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, greasing, and checking fluid levels (water, oil, etc.).
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform simple repairs.
- Adhere to current safety regulations and environmental protection measures.
What We Expect
- You possess a Machinist license in categories SUVA M1 to M7.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- You are autonomous, organized, and versatile.
